About AAVRAN
AAVRAN is a bandana label from Gurugram, Haryana, run by its three founders. We wanted an accessory with Indian prints that sits as easily with streetwear as it does with a kurta, so we started making one.
The name comes from आवरण (aavaran), a covering. A bandana is exactly that: a square of cloth you cover your head, neck or wrist with, or tie onto whatever you carry.
Our first drop has 12 prints built on shapes Indian cloth and buildings have used for centuries: the kairi (paisley), the chakra (medallion), the buta (repeating flower), the jaal (net) and the jharokha (arched window), plus a black bandana where the flowers turned into butterflies. They come in two sizes, 50 × 50 cm and 65 × 65 cm, and every price includes all taxes.
