About Darbar
Darbar (दरबार) is a printed bandana from AAVRAN's first drop. A deep red and navy medallion, as detailed as a painted palace ceiling. Dark and rich, so it looks expensive. Made for evenings and occasions.
The print: Chakra
Chakra means wheel. The oldest way to fill a square of cloth is to start at the centre and build outward, ring around ring, the way a rangoli or a kolam grows on a doorstep. Fold it into a triangle and the wheel splits across your forehead or the front of your neck.
How to wear it
Fold it corner to corner and you have a head wrap or a neckerchief. Roll it into a band and it goes round your forehead, your wrist or a ponytail. Knot it through a belt loop or onto a bag strap when you are not wearing it. The guide shows each way step by step.
What you get
One Darbar bandana, 50 × 50 cm.
Why AAVRAN
